What is the title of your book / WIP?
Well, let’s see...
I have two books that are already published and available. “Spirit of the
Rebellion,” and “Shadow of the Witte Wieven.” I have one book, “Spirit of the
Revolution,” that is heading into galley as soon as the copy editor is finished going through the manuscript. Once there, I will finally get a
release date. I have one book under consideration at a publishing company as we
speak, and another, waiting in line at Wild Rose Press. And..., I have just
completed the second chapter in my still untitled, WIP.
However, for this
blog, I think we’ll go ahead and talk about “Shadow of the Witte Wieven.”
Where did the idea of this book come from? I happened to run across this amazing
picture of a raging storm over the ocean. Thick, dark, gray clouds filled the sky and
the massive bolt of lightning sent shivers down my spine. In turn, that picture led me
to ponder the stories and mysteries surrounding the Bermuda Triangle. From there,
my imagination took flight.
What genre would your book fall under?
Because of the
paranormal elements within the story, we have listed it under “Paranormal
Romance.” However, readers will also find adventure and a bit of a mystery to solve.
Which actors would you choose to play your
characters in a movie rendition?
We did an “Eyecandy Monday" recently and we think Chris Hemsworth could fill the shoes of Wolfaert
Dircksen Van Ness quite nicely, and for Aliyana Rosa Montijo? Genesis Rodriguez would be a
perfect fit...but, you have to give her green eyes...
What is the one sentence synopsis of your
book?
“One man, one
woman, separated by centuries. Can their love bridge both space and time?”
Is your book published or represented?
“Shadow of the
Witte Wieven,” published by InkSpell Publishing, entered the world of books on
April 21, 2012.
How long did it take you to write it?
About six months.
What other book or books in your genre would you
compare it to?
Now that’s a hard
one. But how about we choose “Stardust of Yesterday,” by Lynn Kurland, since
that’s the one InkSpell notes in their catalog.
